Old Morpheus Still Works - If You Haven't Used It In A While
from the interesting... dept
According to this article from the Register, if you didn't use the old Morpheus during the time it was shut down, you can now get it to work again. This adds credibility to the idea that there was some sort of "attack" on Morpheus users that disabled the software. It seems that attack is no longer turned on, so if your software wasn't disabled, you're free to use it. The attack apparently changed the registry settings, so I don't understand why someone couldn't just make an "anti-attack" that changed the registry settings back (or am I missing something?).
