Does It Matter That Carly Fiorina Is Female?

To be honest, I've never heard this question come up anywhere except in various news articles... but there have been a bunch of articles wondering if Carly Fiorina receives more scrutiny for being female. I haven't noticed that she gets particularly more press than any other CEO of a major corporation (other than articles like this one I'm linking to), but I also haven't been counting or paying that much attention to the matter. We've discussed this before, and people suggested that she has been receiving more attention because she wanted it that way and has been known to promote herself and crave the attention.
