Judge Tells Record Labels What They're In For

Earlier this week we said that it looked like Napster and the record labels were going back to court - which could be bad for the record labels who would be in for more scrutiny than they expected. That's now been confirmed. The judge has told the record labels that she's going to look closely into their actions. Wired has a more complete article saying that the judge has told the record labels that the burden of proof is on them to show that they really own the copyrights to the music. The judge also mentioned "antitrust concerns" which is not what the music industry wanted to hear.
