Satellite Radio To The Rescue
from the still-waiting dept
I'm hearing more and more people say they're actually interested in signing up for satellite radio. I guess I just don't listen to radio enough to see why I would ever use such a service, but more and more people keep signing up. Whether or not it really takes off as the next big thing is still very much in the air, but there is quite a bit of hype behind it. While I understand the comparisons to cable TV, I still think of radio as mainly something you turn on in the background while you're driving - and not as the center of your entertainment world. As something in the background, I wouldn't be willing to pay for it - but it appears that plenty of people hate their morning commute listening choices so much that they're willing to pay to get away from them.
