Time To Rewrite The DMCA
from the preaching-to-the-converted dept
The "fair use" poster boy in Congress, Rick Boucher, has written an opinion column for News.com about why it's time to rewrite the DMCA (as if there were ever a time that it shouldn't have been rewritten?). Unfortunately, I would guess that most people who read it will already agree with him. It is nice to see that at least someone in Congress realizes what an awful law it is and is trying to do something about it. He's certainly been getting a lot of press in techie types of publications lately. Hopefully, it actually leads to some changes in the law.
