PC Voting Passes Test
from the vote-from-home dept
Now they figure it out! A technology lab has tested and approved a product called VoteHere to allow voting over a PC in an election. It apparently meets the Federal Election Commision's standards. However, it's not clear if anyone will actually use the system in any upcoming elections. At this point, it's not designed for home or internet voting, though, they claim it will be easy to move that way in the future. Right now, the system would require PCs at the polling place for voters to use. However, they say the system is much better than any current system out there.
