Motient Files For Bankruptcy
from the restructure-into-what? dept
Motient has filed for bankruptcy. I have to admit this is one of the most "positive" sounding bankruptcy announcements I've seen in a while. Basically, they've got the whole restructuring plan figured out already, and they believe that it will get them back on track. That's a lot better than many companies who announce they're filing for bankruptcy to restructure... and then try to figure out how later. Motient, of course, runs the network that many Blackberry pagers run on (as well as Palm V's), but they say the restructuring shouldn't effect the network.
