AT&T Broadband Goes To Comcast...
from the and-the-winner-is... dept
All that noise over nothing. Back in July Comcast announced an unsolicited bid for AT&T Broadband, and AT&T flipped out, saying they could never agree to such a thing. All it took was a few months and lots of talk, and out of the three offers, it turns out that Comcast's was the best afterall. They're expected to announce the deal shortly. I guess that means that my current cable modem service will switch over to Comcast at some point - meaning that Comcast had better watch out, or I'll take them down too.
