The Register In Trouble?
from the uh-oh dept
Ah, right after we post a nice little story about an amusing contest from the Register we find out that they're laying a bunch of their team off. It's a small group already, so losing four editors is a bit of a hit - but they hope it (along with their constantly promoted new pay-per-view streaming video show, Salmon Days) will let them stick around for a bit longer. As for those four who lost their job, maybe they should trek on over to The Inquirer, founded by former The Register-ite, Michael Magee (which looks more and more Register like each day...).
