Good Parents Don't Let Their Children Hack
from the oh,-come-on dept
The Australian Broadcasting Agency has set up a site to teach parents the warning signs that their kids might be hackers. They point out that parents shouldn't just rely on monitoring tools alone, since the kids are probably smart enough to get around them. It's amusing to see how people fear the concept of "hacking" rather than encouraging kids to experiment with computers in ways that aren't damaging to others.
