AdCritic Shuts Down
from the but...-but...-where-will-I-get-to-see-the-Superbowl-commercials? dept
We've discussed adcritic here before. It was definitely one of the more useful sites out there, but the big question was always whether or not they could ever find a business model. It turns out, in the end, they couldn't figure out any business model, and so they're out of money. No matter what business model they worked out, it would have been difficult, because the more people who use their site, the higher their costs go, since streaming video takes up so much bandwidth. It's too bad they couldn't come up with something valuable, though.

Re: Proposal
I was wondering if you could send me the proposal because I'm looking to launch a site like AdCritic.com and Ads.com.
