A Catalog Of Catalogs

As was pointed out in a comment yesterday, Google is now testing a new service that lets you search through a ton of paper catalogs that they've scanned and OCR'ed for your convenience. It is pretty cool (though, unfortunately, they don't seem to have any of the catalogs I worked on years ago, which - because we were so cheap - used employees as models, and thus you could see me all done up in a HazMat suit). Who needs a Personal Awareness Assistant, anyway? Just give me Google as my extra electronic brain. Okay, fine, if you can't wait to give it a try, here's the Google Catalog Search.
