Register To Link To KPMG
from the return-of-the-clueless dept
Every once in a while you hear a story like this one, where someone thinks they can tell you what you can and can't link to. While the U.S. government seems to be getting away with it in regards to links to DeCSS, it's pretty tricky for anyone else. So, when KPMG asked someone to sign a "link agreement" before he could continue to link to their site, he properly responded by telling them to go away. Apparently, it's become quite the popular thing now to link to KPMG just to bug them. Yet another reason why lawyers shouldn't be able to surf the internet without a license.

It's all a marketing ploy!
Think KPMG will move in in the rankings because of this ploy?
