Economic Picture: Cloudy
from the probably-a-good-thing dept
I have so little confidence in most people who predict the economy for a living, that I feel more encouraged when those people throw up their hands in confusion than back when they acted like they knew everything. The less the economists agree, and the worse they make the forecasts out to be, the more I think we're probably past the worst part. We may now be facing the opposite of the bubble effect. Remember how economists were saying the "new economy" changed everything and was different than anything before? Now economists are saying the same thing about this recession.
