Forget Internet In The Air
from the no-more-for-now dept
It appears the airlines have a lot more important things to take care of these days than figuring out how to let their passengers surf the web from 30,000 feet. Delta, American Airlines, and United Airlines have all pulled out of a Boeing project to outfit airplanes with net connections. Maybe that's a good thing. I got through a book and a half on my flight from NY to California yesterday, instead of staring at the random emails and websites I would have been reading had I been on the ground.
