The Way We Talk Now

A great article detailing some of the language changes in the technology business world over the past few years. Some are buzzwords that have been way over used. Others are analogies or metaphors for situations (in which very different ones have become relevant). Some are just changes in meaning. For example, "filing" used to mean for an IPO - but now means for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. There are some very funny double-talk quotes in the article. My favorite is probably that "surviving is a precondition to succeeding". The article seems to (probably correctly) blame venture capitalists and PR people for most of the phrases.
