Cell Phones Getting Too Small - Part II
from the wacky-people dept
Back in June we had an article about people complaining that cell phones were getting too small. Now the LA Times has a similar story talking about how not just cell phones, but all sorts of digital gadgets are getting to be too small. I still think most of these people are crazy. However, it does make some good points about devices getting so small that the designers have made them less functional or less easy to use. However, if they remain functional, then smaller is always going to be better for me - simply for the issue of carrying around the damn thing. The problem isn't the size of the device, but the fact that whoever designed the user interface did a bad job. As for phones, I still want the phone that Ben Stiller used in Zoolander (google image search failed to find me a good picture of it).
