HP-Compaq Supporters Striking Back
from the just-who-do-they-think-they-are? dept
In the wake of the H & P children of HP coming out against the merger, some of the deal's defenders are coming out with more force. A column at News.com defends the deal while calling the younger Hewlett and Packard "trust fund kids" with "silver--no, make that platinum--" spoons in their mouths. He does make some good points about why the merger might not be such a bad thing. He also chastises the HP employees who are still so focused on the famous "HP Way" which many (including Carly Fiorina) believe needs to go away.
