Microsoft/DOJ Close To Settling?

For the past few weeks, all I've heard is that neither the DOJ lawyers nor the Microsoft folks had been willing to budge an inch on any settlement proposals. However, now, as they come down to the wire, the rumor is that a settlement is on the table and both sides agree to it. They're waiting to see what the states (who seem more critical of Microsoft than the federal government does) think about the deal.
