Universal Emulation?
from the end-the-platform/OS-wars? dept
People have been playing with emulation for a long time, and it works to a certain extent, but it's never a great solution (except when I feel like reliving the early 80s and play games on an Atari 800 emulator). Now, a company is claiming that they've created a system that will allow for any software to run on any hardware platform. A lot of people seem skeptical of the company's claims, but they say they've been researching this stuff for years. Now they just need to figure out what they're going to do to actually make money.
