The Indiglo Bicycle
from the keeps-you-safe dept
Some researchers have used the same technology used to make watches visible in the dark to light up bicycles. Yes, that's right, you can now get an indiglo bike. It does seem like a pretty good idea for safety purposes. Of course, riding such a bike might feel a little creepy, but considering how dangerous it is to ride a bike at night with normal reflective gear and lights, I imagine it's worth it.

Glow-in-the-dark bike
*Tires don't have rims, wheels do! Jeez, how could a science journal get such a basic bit of technology wrong?
*Four-hour battery life isn't very long, I hope they're working on that (some kind of generator would be even better...).
