The LA Times has a story (found via GMSV) about the "science" behind songs getting stuck in your head. There are a bunch of theories, though no one is quite sure why it happens. Some think that simple songs get stuck. Others say it's the annoying ones. Someone thinks that the songs that get stuck have "deeper meanings" that you need to sort out (not surprisingly, that person is a psychology professor). Warning: Reading the article may be dangerous to your sanity, because they mention a huge number of notoriously catchy songs.
