eBay Identity Theft
from the get-that-good-ranking-and-abuse-it dept
Apparently some online criminals have a new system for defrauding eBay users. They're stealing eBay identities and posting fake auctions that look valid based on the seller's feedback. Even worse is that eBay has been very slow to respond to these cases (according to a number of eBay users - both buyers and sellers). You would think that by now eBay would have worked out a better policy to dealing with such cases.
