What Happens Next In Technology?
from the ask-the-bigshots dept
The NY Times went and spoke with some big names in technology to ask them how the terorrist attacks will affect technology going forward. Not surprisingly, the discussion seems to drift towards surveillance and civil liberties. An interesting read. Of course, I was kinda hoping someone would say they'd been working on something really cool like a machine that would automatically identify terrorists before they did something bad, or a time machine that would let us go back and redo September 11 with the knowledge we have in its aftermath. Oh well. Not yet, I guess.
