Multiple Email Personalities
from the who's-who? dept
A good look at how many people (mostly they talk about executives) have multiple email accounts that they use for different purposes. I easily fall into the category of people who have five or more email addresses for different uses. It's not surprising, of course, that more "famous" people have one general email for the "riffraff email" and another for actual friends and family. Of course, many of them also have assistants to go through their email for them. The article also talks about the writer of the email newsletter NetFuture who has stopped using email altogether. This seems to be extreme in the other direction - and somewhat pointless. It also makes me wonder what sort of "NetFuture" this guy is dreaming up, if he can't handle the basics, like email.
