File Swappers Not Making Any Money
from the this-is-news? dept
It must be a slow news day over at News.com, because they've decided to write a nice long article about the state of file swapping software, where they basically say "nothing's changed". Lots of people are using the various products, and there's always a threat of lawsuits from the entertainment industries. Oh yeah, there also doesn't seem to be much chance of any of these companies making any money. That is, unless the music industry wakes up and realizes that they're actually great ways to promote their bands - which is unlikely to happen this decade.
