Online Porn Not Quite So Lucrative Any More
from the the-downturn-hits-the-porn-industry dept
Remember the days when all you needed to do to make a quarter of a million dollars a year was steal some porn pictures from some other website, sign up for some affiliate programs, and put up your own online porn empire? Apparently, those days are long gone. There's been a downturn in the online porn market where there are too many sites, and not enough money going around. The article is fairly detailed (I almost wrote "graphic", but that would be... misleading) about the economics of running a porn site, and all the factors that have come together to make the life of the online porn webmaster not so profitable any more.
