Salon's Position Doesn't Look Good
from the do-the-math dept
We mentioned last week that Salon had eked out a bit of extra cash to stay in business. They claimed that it would be enough to reach profitability, but a quick look at the math doesn't make that seem too likely. They're not getting that much from subscriptions, and the advertising market seems to keep dwindling day by day. They only raised $2.5 million, which probably won't last them too long.
