Judges Should Be Told About Monitoring

from the oh,-that-will-solve-everything dept

Remember those judges that finally realized what all those "internet privacy cases" showing up in the courtroom were all about and flipped out when they discovered the same monitoring software they said was legal was being used on themselves? Well, now they've been told that they need to keep up the monitoring as well as preventing the downloading of music (because downloading music, the report claims, could open up their computers to malicious viruses and such internet nastiness). However, the big concession is that now the judges will be reminded that they're being spied on every time they turn on their computer. So, the lesson is, it's okay to spy on your workers if you tell them over and over and over again. Some believe that the judges won't stand for this. Hopefully, they're right.
