The Webification Of Television
from the it's-happening-now dept
An interesting article looking at the webification of television. He's not talking about stuff that's happening in the future with "interactive television", but things that are happening now, such as Headline News and ESPNews devoting more of their screens to tickers and headlines (even during commercials). He also talks about how Tivo makes watching TV more of a weblike experience - since you can watch what you want, when you want, and avoid many of the commercials.
