Slide Rule Making A Comeback?

I'm writing this just after noticing that the calculator I keep on my desk may finally have succumbed to dead batteries. It seems that the slide rule is making a comeback. Okay, maybe it's mostly nostalgia from some geeky engineers, but a lot of people are talking about how useful their slide rules are. One guy points out that his slide rule is always around. While people will always borrow his calculator, no one seems to take the slide rule.
