Computer Virus As An Artform
from the well,-that's-different dept
An anonymous group of artists have put a computer virus in as an exhibit at an art show. Apparently, it's causing quite a sensation. They told all the virus companies how to disable it, but at the same time they're offering the source code to anyone who wants it. Their argument (whether or not they actually believe this is another thing) is that they're making people more comfortable with computer viruses so they know how to respond to them - rather than just being in fear all the time.
