Apparently there are consultants whose main job is to help carefully close down a dot com. With all the recent dot com closings, many haven't cared at all about how they were shutting down and broke many laws. To prevent additional lawsuits for their defunct dot coms, many people are turning to these special consultants who try to make the best of a bad situation.
