Interest In Online Porn Is Healthy, But Illegal
from the mixed-messages dept
A judge in the UK explained to a 13-year-old boy who was found with child porn pictures on his computer that his interest in porn was "healthy", but still sentenced him 18 months supervision and put his name on a sex offenders' register. The boy (of course) claims he found the pictures accidentally, but I wonder how you find 300 pictures accidentally. Most of the pictures of "underage youth" were pictures of teenagers his own age - which, while not acceptible, is somewhat more understandable. I just find it odd that the judge told the kid that his interest was "healthy". Talk about mixed messages.
