In Flight Email Not A Big Thing Any More
from the now-that-was-quick dept
Apparently, no one cares about internet access to airplanes any more. Companies suddenly aren't so sure that it will be a big thing, and so investments aren't going into that area. This contrasts with some big announcements over the past few months suggesting it was going to be a big thing. This makes me wonder if companies are generating a bunch of empty hype to see how people respond, and then when they don't, they kill off the project that didn't really exist in the first place.
