IBM Says Things Aren't That Bad
from the calm-down-everyone dept
Some good quotes from Lou Gerstner at IBM concerning the state of the technology world. He's basically saying it's not that bad. All the companies that are having earnings warnings are doing so because they were supporting the huge bubble of nothingness. Real projects, however, continue to grow. He suggests that the big tech companies that have been having problems are that way because they were "accomplices in this new-economy mumbo-jumbo".
