Professor Doesn't Present SDMI Crack

Well, the SDMI gets to go another day deluding themselves that their encryption schemes are uncrackable. The professor who figured out how to break the encryption has decided (after being threatened with a lawsuit) that he'd rather avoid going to court, and won't be presenting his paper. Of course, I like the Techdirt suggestion that he just encrypt the paper. If he could use the same encryption scheme used by SDMI, then they'd have no complaint, right? Because in their own little fantasy world it can't be broken - and if you did break it, it would be illegal.
