Great New Recruiting Tactic

Alan Santos wrote in with a link (but no description) about the latest ruling in in a court case about "body shops". Body shops are "recruitment" firms that bring in foreign workers and farm them out as temp workers to high tech companies. In return for getting the foreign workers into the country and handling all their visa issues the firms place ridiculously restrictive contracts on the workers. In this case, one of the workers tried to break the contract and go work for Oracle. The judge found that many of the clauses in the contract were illegal (they basically made the employee an indentured servent) and is now probably going to make the firm pay for all of the worker's legal costs as well.
