Many Mid-Sized E-Commerce Firms Profitable
from the e-commerce-might-actually-work dept
For all those folks saying that e-commerce is dead, here's an interesting study. It turns out that over 60% of "midsized" firms doing e-commerce are profitable. Midsized being defined as doing between $100,000 and $1,000,000 per year. My guess is that these are generally small, 1 to 5 person shops that are focused, and make money the old fashioned way: selling products in a niche market with a comfortable profit margin.
