A completely pointless look at which came first, the dot com shakeout "chicken" or the economic downturn "egg"? Basically, did the dot com shakeout cause the economic downturn or was it the opposite way around? My theory? There's simply not very much going on in the tech world today for a reporter to find it necessary to write such a story.
