Two Sides Of CRM

Two articles (both quoting Gartner studies... hmm...) point out the two sides of customer relationship management applications. First, is a story about how downturn may be a good thing for CRM as companies don't want to alienate their customers. Thus, they're suggesting that CRM is a wise investment at this point. However, this second article says that most CRM installations are failures and a total waste of money.
