It was only a year ago that people were talking about the wireless web as if it were going to change the world. Now things are a little more sober as it's been discovered that people really don't like the wireless web the way it is now. In fact, part of the problem is that it was called the wireless web - setting up expectations that it was the same old web, just without wires. Now companies are trying to regroup and come out with more realistic projects for the "wireless web".
