Northwest Still Paying Expedia
from the by-not-paying-we-meant-negotiating-ploy dept
Despite all the noise a couple weeks back when Northwest announced it was no longer going to pay online commissions to Expedia and Travelocity, it turns out that they've kept up payments to Expedia in secret, though apparently they have cut off payments to Travelocity. The thought is that they're negotiating with Expedia for a different sort of deal, and continuing the payments is a showing of good faith. Seems more like a hostage tactic to me.
