Web Books Spur Hardcover Sales
from the yeah,-so? dept
I've believed for a while that it is possible to use the internet as an advertising medium - though not through such things as banner ads. That's why I'm happy to see a story about a company that has been selling more hardcover books thanks to their internet versions of the books. In fact, this is a company that sold mostly paperback books, but is now finding much more demand for hardcovers. Many publishers and writers simply look on eBooks as a way to take money away from their regular book sales - but this suggests that the opposite could be true.
