How Does Dr. Koop Survive (And Buy Other Companies)?
from the you've-got-me dept
Ever since the beginning of the dot com downturn at the top of most people's "going out of business" list was Dr. Koop. However, not only is the company still alive, it's been buying other companies. They've certainly cut back on expenses, but revenues have declined as well. It will be interesting to see if there's a real plan behind this, or if they're just building a huge conglomerate "black hole" where medical dot coms go to die.
