Where Is Symantec Going?

A very good article that takes a look at Symantec and what they're trying to do. There are comparisons to Network Associates - as Symantec recently followed NAI's lead by buying up other companies and trying to expand from a primarily desktop security software company, to a larger enterprise security company. However, Network Associates failed pretty badly, and many think Symantec is simply heading down the same road. The article talks a lot with Symantec CEO John Thompson and points out the similarities and differences between the plans of the two companies. Definitely an interesting read.
