Napster Guarantees $1 Billion To Record Labels
from the big-claims dept
Napster has come out publicly and promised $1 billion to the major record labels if they let the file sharing service stay in business. They also outlined more detailed plans for how the "pay for" service will work. This follows on repeated attempts to work out a deal with the record labels who haven't been wowed by any of the deals previously offered. It will be interesting to see how they respond to this offer.
