China Cut Off From The Internet

from the that-can't-be-good dept

One of the main undersea cables that connects Asia to the internet has been cut and may take weeks to repair. Many people in China, Taiwan and Singapore are suddenly finding that they can't access international sites, or that they're painfully slow. Isn't it nice to see that we're still relying on systems that basically have a single point of failure?
