Hackers Fail To Win OpenHack Contest
from the what-sort-of-hackers-were-they? dept
I'm actually a bit surprised, but apparently no one was able to hack the fictitious e-commerce server for the OpenHack contest, meaning the $90,000+ in prize money will get split among the developers of the protection software. This is amusing, because just this morning there were all these news articles about all the problems computer systems were having with security, and there were quotes from plenty of hackers claiming that any system is vulnerable.
