BountyQuest Announces First Four Prizes Given Out
from the down-with-stupid-patents dept
BountyQuest, the company set up to help other companies find "prior art" on stupid patents has awarded its first four prizes to people who have provided prior art that can be used (possibly) to debunk silly patents from Walker Digital, Cisco, Oracle, and InTouch. Of course, there's still a long way (and probably lots of legal battles) to go before any of the patents go away. It will be interesting to see if the findings from BountyQuest are actually useful or not.
